Sam Houston as seen on the Anatolian Rescue website, March 16th, 2011

When we saw these pictures posted on the Anatolian Shepherd website, saying he was in a shelter and needed a foster home immediatly, our hearts went out to him. He is estimated to be four months old and a cross between an Anatolian Shepherd and a Great Pyrenees. He looks so sweet in the above picture, but look where his paws are -- in a HOLE! As if our yard was not already demolished from all the mole digging by our other two dogs.

Curious pup, on the prowl.

Such a goofy, silly, happy looking doggie -- how could we resist?

We agreed to take him and arrangements began to transport him from south of Houston, Texas, to Yellville, Arkansas.
